Who amongst us has never dreamed of being a justice-dispensing knight named DeathSpank? Electronic Arts and developer Hothead Games have announced that the fulfillment of that dream will come on July 13 for the Playstation Network and July 14 for Xbox Live. DeathSpank, a lighthearted action RPG, will retail for $14.99 on the PSN or for 1200 Microsoft Points on XBL.

DeathSpank can be played alone, of course, or with local co-op in which the second player takes the role of DeathSpank's sidekick, Sparkles the wizard. Either way, the game promises nutty quests and an epic search for a powerful artifact known as The Artifact. Can't wait until July to dispense justice?
