Capcom has finally announced that Okamiden is making its way to North America. The game is a spiritual sequel to the 2006 classic, Okami, and is set to release sometime in 2011 on the Nintendo DS.

Players take on the role of Chibiterasu, a young sun god who is summoned to protect and restore the land. Armed with a celestial brush, Chibiterasu has many different skills and techniques that she will be able to learn.
