Lifetime sales figures for three top Square Enix franchises have been revealed in a document published on the company's website. According to this document, Final Fantasy has sold 85 million units, Dragon Quest has sold 47 million units, and Kingdom Hearts has sold 12 million units.
These are worldwide sales numbers, though it is unclear if they include off-shoots such as the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles or Dragon Quest Monsters titles. The document was published as part of Square Enix's recent acquisition of Eidos and also reveals lifetime sales figures for Tomb Raider and Hitman.
