Fallout 3

Bethesda has announced that Broken Steel, the third DLC expansion for Fallout 3, will be released on May 5th for the Xbox 360 and PC. As opposed to the first two DLC packs, Operation Anchorage and The Pitt, Broken Steel will extend the main quest of the original game.

Along with this extension will be an increase of the game's level cap to 30. Existing characters will be playable, presumably no matter how players chose to end the original main quest. New weapons will be available, such as the Heavy Incinerator and the Tesla Cannon, and brand new enemies will be brought into the game, including the Super Mutant Overlord. New perks and achievements will be added as well.

Broken Steel will see players continuing to team up with the Brotherhood of Steel (and a certain giant death-bot) to take on the remnants of the Enclave, which still pose a significant threat to the Capital Wasteland. Players will journey to the Olney Powerworks and other new locations.

Just like Operation Anchorage and The Pitt, Broken Steel will set purchasers back 800 Microsoft Points. Look for it on May 5.
