Diablo fans rejoice! Blizzard took the stage at its 2008 Worldwide Invitation event in Paris, France and announced the long-awaited Diablo III.

Little else was confirmed about the game except that it will retain its action-RPG genre, overhead isometric view, and boast approximately five character classes including the all-new witch doctor class. Blizzard states that it will quench fans' thirst for more information in the future, asserting that there are many more details yet to be revealed.
