Square Enix has confirmed today that Infinite Undiscovery will be released in North America on September 2. The company also announced that The Last Remnant will release in Japan and North America this winter, while Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be released in both areas in 2009.

"Square Enix is expanding on its commitment to deliver exciting gaming experiences to our fans all around the world," said John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix, Inc. and Square Enix, Ltd. "Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant and Star Ocean: The Last Hope represent significant steps in bringing our titles to a global audience and to make each new release a global event."

All three of those games will be available on the Xbox 360, while The Last Remnant will eventually release on the PlayStation 3 and tri-Ace may decide at a later date to port Star Ocean: The Last Hope over to Sony's console. Square Enix also mentioned that new details on The Last Remnant will be released during E3, which will be held July 15-17.
