A Capcom blogger commented on the issue today, explaining that "It’s sadly one of those things that’s hard to spot if you don’t know what your looking for, but the moment you see it, it becomes obvious and stares you in the face."

An apology isn't all Capcom's extending, as those who purchased Okami for the Wii can opt to receive a brand new watermark-free cover in the mail at the company's expense.
