Atlus has shipped their hardcore dungeon-crawler, Baroque, for Nintendo Wii and Playstation 2 to North America. Players will take on the role of a mysterious character who suddenly awakes to find the world destroyed and humanity fallen. Overwhelmed with unexplainable guilt and a need for redemption, players must battle through foes in a mysterious tower to find the truth behind the world's destruction.

In Baroque death is not the end, and is required in some cases for the story to progress. Secrets about the forsaken world are revealed each time your character dies. In addition, players can fully customize their character by finding and equipping a large variety of weapons and items, some with more than one use, and by combining stat-boosting parasites found throughout the dungeons.

Baroque is rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB.
