Namco Bandai Games recently announced Dragon Tamer: Sound Spirit, a role-playing game for the Nintendo DS. Using the built-in microphone, players can record diverse sounds to create over 100 different types of dragons each relating to one of the six elements (fire, water, wind, earth, light, and darkness). Battle sequences will be entirely rendered in 3D, while dungeons and fields will be rendered in 2D.

Dragon Tamer: Sound Spirit has been scheduled for a Fall 2007 release date in Japan. There has not been word of any future plans for localization in North America.
