Square Enix held a pre-conference meeting today in Japan, revealing quite a few new games, and hinted at what's to come at Square Enix Party 2007. The company revealed that Star Ocean: First Departure and Star Ocean: Second Evolution would both be remade for the PlayStation Portable and that the two of them would be part of the Star Ocean Museum, which will include those two games and more. Also announced at this meeting, and possibly another part of the Museum, was the tentatively titled Star Ocean 4.

First Departure will be a full remake of the original Super Famicon release, including remade graphics in the vein of its PlayStation sequel. Also included in this remake will be new characters and new scenarios. Second Evolution will include updated character designs, new voices, and will also feature a slightly altered background history of the series.

Next, Square Enix revealed Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon ~Labyrinth Forgotten by Time~ for the Nintendo Wii. To be developed by Chunsoft, this is the third title in the Chocobo's Magical Dungeon series, and the first one not on a Sony console.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers for the Wii has had very little known about it, but that will all change very shortly. Square Enix announced today that the Wii title would be playable at this upcoming weekend's Square Enix Party 2007. While the game still remains incomplete, the company feels that it is currently ready to be unveiled to the public.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates for the Nintendo DS has been shown quite a few times previous to this event, including having many of its features revealed. Today, however, Square Enix revealed at its pre-conference meeting that this title would be released in Japan on August 23 for 5040 yen, including taxes.

Though previously announced, new details were revealed regarding Final Fantasy XII International: Zodiac Job System for the PlayStation 2. This title will include a 16:9 widescreen mode and will be released in Japan on August 9 for 6800 yen, including taxes. This re-release will also include English voices and will be rated Cero B, the equivalent of a "Teen" ESRB rating, while the original was rated for "All Ages" or Cero A under the new rating system.
