Big Huge Games

Publisher THQ and developer Big Huge Games are teaming up to create a new RPG. Ken Rolston, who worked with Bethesda on the Elder Scrolls series, is set to helm the new project.

While there are no details on this RPG, the President and COO of Big Huge Games, Tim Train, said, "We've wanted to do an RPG for years and I think we have a great direction that will knock everyone's socks off." Concerning the decision to work with THQ, Train stated, "THQ's ability to create and grow new intellectual properties, and their reputation for fantastic developer support, made them the ideal partner to bring our dream game to market."

Most recently, Big Huge Games has released Catan for the XBLA; members of the development team have worked on such games as Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Civilization II. Rolston joined Big Huge Games in February 2007, less than a year after retiring from the video game industry.
