NIS America has pulled back the curtains on the official English site for Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories. In addition, it also opened an English site for the Disgaea anime.

Disgaea 2 is the first direct sequel in Nippon Ichi's line of Strategy RPGs, which began in 2002 with La Pucelle, known in its US release as La Pucelle: Tactics. As such, it includes much of the same gameplay as its predecessor, and several familiar characters make appearances. Disgaea 2 also carries on Nippon Ichi's recognizable art style, as well as its quirky sense of humor.

The anime is a retelling of the first Disgaea's story. All the original characters put in some screen time, although there are several significant changes to the story. Geneon has licensed the anime for US release, but no specific date has been announced.
