Today Microsoft's Xbox spokesman, Peter Moore, officially announced the development of Fable 2 for the Xbox 360.

Fable 2 is the sequel to the wildly popular Fable and its special director's cut edition, Fable: The Lost Chapters. Alongside this announcement it was also insinuated that Peter Molyneux's development studio, Lionhead Studios, has become a Microsoft first-party company.

No release date information or specific details were divulged but should any further information come to light RPGamer will be on location to report it.
