Square Enix has announced that its biggest-selling series will finally be making its debut in Europe soon. Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King will be the first Dragon Quest title to reach European shores.

Currently no details of the title's release are known other than that Square Enix will be publishing the title, a rarity for the company in Europe, and that the game has yet to receive a release date. This may mark the company's decision to start self-publishing titles in Europe, something that was hinted at during this past year.
