The newest issue of Shonen Jump has divulged the first concrete details pertaining to a game titled Blue Dragon; one of the two Mistwalker titles promised for the Xbox 360. Mainly, the article focuses on the game's characters. Shu, the hero of the game, is a very bright, cheery, and adventurous boy who holds the ability to turn his shadow into a blue dragon. Shu is joined by his classmate Jiro, who is a very serious child, and Kuruku, who is the responsible one of the trio.

The article in question reveals that Akira Toriyama, who is known for his work on the Dragonball Z anime series, the Dragon Quest series, and Chrono Trigger, has been employed to do character designs for Blue Dragon.
