Atlus Reveals New Strategy Title

Altus is developing a new strategy title for the PlayStation 2 entitiled StellaDeus. The game promises to bring tactical gameplay, combined attacks, and a story that focuses on political and religious conflicts.

The development team of StellaDeus reads like an amalgamation of game ending credits: Naruki Fukushima of Persona 2 as character designer, Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata of Final Fantasy Tactics as composers, Takahiro Ogata of Shin Megami Tensei NINE as sound director, Kamikaze Douga of Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter as movie producer, and art setting director Kusanagi of Square Enix fame, whose accomplishments include Final Fantasy VII-X and Front Mission 2 and 3.

StellaDeus should arrive in Japanese stores sometime later this year. A North American release has not been announced.
