Mythic Entertainment Settles Lawsuit With Microsoft

Mythic Entertainment has announced that their legal face-off with Microsoft has come to an end. The lawsuit, which was caused over Microsoft's use of the title Mythica for an upcoming MMORPG, has been dropped by Mythic in return for certain international trademark rights and Internet domain names related to the name Mythica. Microsoft's application to register Mythica as a trademark in the United States has also been dropped.

Microsoft cancelled the Mythica project earlier this year, so it no longer has any use for the Mythica name. The reason given was that Microsoft wants to devote as much of its resources as possible to another still under construction MMORPG, Sigil's Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
