It has been announced today that Nintendo of America will be publishing three of Square Enix's Nintendo-exclusive titles in North America this year. The three titles being unleashed are Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and Sword of Mana (otherwise known as Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu).
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the GameCube will feature multiplayer capability and the ability to use a Game Boy Advance as a controller, which would allow you to see private messages. This game seems to depart from the normal Final Fantasy formula and it will be interesting to see how the multiplayer aspects work out.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for the Game Boy Advance continues the legacy of Final Fantasy Tactics. It features new gameplay features as well as a completely new plot and characters. The game has done exceptionally well in Japan, selling nearly 500,000 copies.
Sword of Mana for the Game Boy Advance is a completely remade version of Final Fantasy Adventure (otherwise known as Seiken Densetsu). It will include all new graphics and gameplay additions. It will also sport a new playable character and quest, as well as multiplayer support with the GBA Link Cable.
All three titles will be shown at this year's E3 and will have European releases shortly following their North American counterparts.
