The long and tedious wait for Final Fantasy XI's North American release became a little shorter today, as Square Enix began accepting applications for the public beta test. Applicants can apply for either the PlayStation 2 beta test, or the PC beta test, but not both. Applications are being accepted at Square Enix USA.
