Final Fantasy XI PC Version Requirements
Final Fantasy XI

With beta testing for the Windows version of Final Fantasy XI underway as of last Tuesday, June 18, the PC requirements for the game have also been revealed by Square:

 Operating System: Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP
 CPU: Intel Pentium III (Pentium 4 Recommended)
  Memory: 128MB RAM (256MB Recommended)
  Graphics: DirectX8.1 AGP compatible (Nvidia GeForce 3 Recommended)
  Sound: DirectX8.1 compatible
  Harddisk: 4.56GB Free Space
  CD-ROM: 4X or Higher (32X Recommended)
  Modem: 56k

The Windows version of Final Fantasy XI uses the same online severs as the PlayStation 2 edition of the game. The release date for the Windows version in North America and Europe is unknown; the PlayStation 2 version is expected to hit North America in the first quarter of 2003.
