Bandai has launched an English website for its upcoming PS2 RPG, .hack, at dothack.com. The site features a basic overview of the game's plot and central characters, as well as screenshots and music from the game. Also featured is a short description of the anime OVA that comes packaged with the game.

.hack is a single player RPG that involves a young boy's quest to unravel the mystery surrounding a popular online game known as The World. When Kite's friend Orca sustains an injury while playing the The World that leads to a coma in real life, he journeys to find a cure for his friend. .hack is set to be released in North America in October, and is expected to retail for $49.99.
