Sony's The Legend of Dragoon Hits Retailers

This year certainly seems to be the year for PlayStation RPGs. Over a dozen upcoming RPGs from companies such as Squaresoft, Working Designs, Atlus, and Capcom are joined by today's release of Sony's The Legend of Dragoon to create the biggest North American RPG lineup ever. What helps The Legend of Dragoon stand out from the crowd, you might ask?

This four-disc RPG may possibly be one of the PlayStation's prettiest games, with detailed pre-rendered backgrounds and over 40 minutes of FMV. The Legend of Dragoon features unique enemy encounter and battle systems, nine playable characters with individual abilities, and a great soundtrack. Importers take note, as The Legend of Dragoon has a modchip lockout feature. Owners of modified PlayStations must use the following Gameshark codes in order to play the game (thanks to GIA):

The Legend of Dragoon has been rated "T" (Teen) by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) and has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $39.99. RPGamer's The Legend of Dragoon review should be available soon, so check back for more information on the game. RPG fans should check with their favorite video game retailer for this exciting new title.
