Square on Dreamcast?

Ever since the announcement of the Dreamcast system, speculation has run rampant about whether or not Square would develop for the system. Now, RPGamer has learned, via an annonymous source within Babbages/Software Etc., that employees of Babbages and Software Etc. have been instructed to tell consumers that SquareSoft will indeed be publishing games for the Dreamcast console, although no titles or tentative dates were provided. The instructions, which were received via an email from the district manager, were apparently given in order to increase pre-orders of the Dreamcast system.     A representative from Square refused to comment on whether the company will eventually develop for the Dreamcast, stating only "Square does not currently have a Dreamcast development team in existence."
