During its eight anniversary celebration event for the God Eater series, Bandai Namco released a new Japanese trailer and some extra details for the upcoming God Eater 3. The new trailer, viewable below, includes new character Hugo, who became a new type of God Eater at a young age along with the player-created protagonist.
Bandai Namco also revealed that the game will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) worldwide, though no release date has been given. The developer also revealed that the game will feature two new weapon types, a new power-up mode, a link system between the player character and one of their allies, and new types of Aragami.
God Eater 3 is the third mainline title in the series, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting where beings called Aragami have overrun the world. Players control God Eaters, individuals with the power to wield God Arcs, the only weapons known to be able to defeat the Aragami.
