Monster Hunter: World

Capcom has announced an upcoming content update for Monster Hunter: World. The headline addition of the update, which is set for March 22, 2018, on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, is Deviljho, the fearsome Brute Wyvern. Slaying a Deviljho will reward players with materials to build two new armors sets along with a new weapon upgrade for all fourteen weapon types.

Additional changes to the game will include weapon balances and Character Edit vouchers. Each player will be given one free voucher, which will allow for players to edit their character's gender and physical appearance. Future vouchers will have to be purchased. The free Character Edit voucher will be available via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Games Store on March 16, 2018.

A limited time event will also occur in the month following the release of Deviljho. Beginning on April 5, 2018 at 5pm PST and ending on April 18, 2018 at 5pm PST, the Spring the Spring Blossom Fest will take place. This seasonal event will feature a decorated Gathering Hub, unique uniforms for all the staff, and a limited-time food platter. Two event quests will also be made available during the event. The first, beginning on April 6, 2018, will grant materials to craft the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, the winner of the Community Design contest. The second, beginning April 13, 2018, and running through April 27, 2018, will allow for players to gain tickets to craft a voxel Mega Man Palico armor.
