CyberConnect2, developer of the .hack series, recently announced its plans for the future. In a post on its website (in English), the company revealed that it will be looking to publish its own project over the coming year, announcing three projects it dubs the Trilogy of Vengeance.

Only the first of those titles appears to be an RPG, tentatively translated to Fugue of the Battlefield and described as "an action strategy RPG depicting hope and despair" with the keywords War, Vengeance, and Beast. The second title has been given the English name Tokyo Ogre Gate and is described as "high speed parkour style slashing action" with the keywords Schoolgirl, Vengeance, and Steampunk. The third and final project, Cecile, is described as "2.5D side scrolling [...] witch action" with the keywords Gothic Lolita, Vengeance, and Witches.

The company also revealed that it is spreading into animation, stating that it is assisting animation studio TriF Studio on its original anime MECHA-UDE. It also put out a recruiting call for developers to work on its projects. More details about all of the above projects and areas can be found on CyberConnect2's official website.
