Red Hook Studios is partnering with Merge Games to release a physical version of Darkest Dungeon. The physical release, which is titled Darkest Dungeon: Ancestral Edition, will be a complete version of the game containing both expansions: The Crimson Court and The Shieldbreaker. The physical release is due in March 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation 4 version will be available for $39.99/£34.99/€39.99 while the Nintendo Switch version will be $29.99/€29.99/£24.99.
Darkest Dungeon is a turn-based, roguelike RPG in which the player plays the inheritor of an estate infested with eldritch horros. The player hires travelling mercenaries to delve and clear the estate, during which they will encounter challenges both physical and mental.
