Japanese developer and publisher Atlus recently held a livestream event, during which is announced two new games. Before the new game announcements, however, the company showed off some more of its previously-revealed title, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, in the form of its first official trailer. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is a remake of the 2010 DS RPG, introducing a new story scenario in the form of a third timeline, and is set for release in Japan on June 29, 2017.
The first of the two announced games is Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey.Like Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, the game another enhanced remake of a DS title, this one of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. Deep Strange Journey sees players investigating a spacial distortion that has appeared in Antarctica and features a new character named Alex as well as a new ending route and other enhancements. The game is set to be released in Japan in fall 2017.
The second new announcement is a sequel to the crossover between Atlus' Etrian Odyssey and Spike Chunsoft's Mystery Dungeon series. Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 will be released in Japan for Nintendo 3DS on August 31, 2017. In addition to the ten classes of its predecessor, Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 will include the Buccaneer, Alchemist, Kenkaku, Monk, and Farmer classes.
