Digimon Story

Bandai Namco announced Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory, a follow-up to Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, which was released in Japan in 2015 and in North America and Europe in 2016. The game is being developed for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and will be released in Japan in 2017, with North American and European releases already confirmed for 2018.

Hacker's Memory is set in the same world as its predecessor, but features a different protagonist. The game follows Keisuke Amazawa, who is accused of a crime he didn't commit. In order to clear his name, Keisuke is forced to go the Digital World and joins up with a group of pro hackers. Bandai Namco states that the story will have stronger cyberpunk and sci-fi elements than the previous title.

The game is stated to be similar in volume to Cyber Sleuth, but there are various additions. 73 new Digimon will be included, bringing the total up to 320. Hacker's Memory will also include around 30 new maps, with the other 60 being reused from the previous game with some changes. Other than this, Hacker's Memory will share many of the gameplay systems and features of its predecessor.
