Atlus USA released a new trailer for its upcoming visual novel/strategy RPG hybrid Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception. The video, viewable below, focuses on main protagonist Haku, who awakens on a mountainside with no memory of his past. He is rescued by Kuon, a girl sporting animal ears and a tail, before becoming embroiled in the machinations of the nation of Yamato.

Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception was originally released in Japan under the subtitle Itsuwari no Kamen in 2015, and is set for release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe on May 23, 2017. It's sequel, Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, is set for release in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Q4 2017.
