Square Enix today announced various editions for the North American and European releases of the PlayStation 4 exclusive Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. The game will come in standard physical and digital editions, priced at $49.99, with the physical edition including a reversible cover on first-print copies and the digital edition coming with a four-track music compilation and a PlayStation Theme. A Limited SteelBook Edition will be available, also priced at $49.99, that comes with a code to unlock original background music in-game.
For more serious collectors, the company revealed the Collector's Edition. The Collector's Edition is exclusive to the Square Enix Online Store, priced at $199.99, and includes the following:
- Collector's box
- Collector's Edition SteelBook (artwork exclusive to this edition)
- Original soundtrack CD
- Judge Magisters bust set
- Six-card art set
- A code to unlock original background music in-game
The Zodiac Age is an HD Remaster of Final Fantasy XII: International Zodiac Job System, originally only released in Japan. Beyond the visual upgrades and game rebalancing, the remake will also include a Turbo mode that increases gameplay speed and a Trial mode that offers endgame challenges for experienced players. The game will be released on July 11, 2017, in both North America and Europe.
