Atlus USA this week revealed that it will be releasing FuRyu's The Caligula Effect in North America and Europe on May 2, 2017. The game, which was released simply as Caligula in Japan in June 2016, will be available exclusively for PlayStation Vita as a digital-only title.

The Caligula Effect is a turn-based RPG set in Moebius: a self-contained virtual reality ruled over by a superintelligent AI. Trapped in its virtual high school, the game's heroes long to escape and return to reality.
