NightDive Studios has released a new pre-alpha video of its remake of System Shock. Narrated in part by SHODAN, the video is meant to show of the visual changes to the game now that it is being developed on the Unreal 4 engine and features some brief moments of gameplay. The game was previously being developed on Unity.
System Shock was originally released in 1994, with the remake being successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter last year for Xbox One, PC, and eventually PlayStation 4. The game is one of the earliest FPS-RPG hybrids, where the player finds themselves stuck on the Citadel, a space station, in the year 2072.
