Sony has released the first two in a planned series of videos detailing some of the mechanized beasts that can be encountered in Horizon: Zero Dawn. The two creatures highlighted this time around are the Snapmaw, an alligator-like machine that has lunging and freezing attacks, and the Thunderjaw, a bipedal predator equipped with weaponry that can be used against it if removed.

Developed by Guerilla Games, best known for the Killzone franchise, Horizon follows the journey of Aloy as she seeks a group of masked people responsible for the death of some of her tribe. The game will release on on February 28, 2017, in North America and on March 1, 2017, in Europe, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
