Square Enix held a 30th Anniversary stage event for Final Fantasy where it announced details of upcoming DLC for Final Fantasy XV. The first, titled the Booster Pack, will become available on February 21, 2017. This pack, which will come in a free version and a paid version, will include a new outfit called the Magitek Exosuit, which will make the player invincible for thirty minutes but has a twenty-four hour cooldown. There were no details on the complete list of items available in the Booster Pack or its paid equivalent, though Season Pass owners will receive the paid version regardless.

The first story DLC, titled Episode Gladio, will become available on March 28, 2017. This adventure will follow Gladio's perspective and will feature an appearance from recurring character Gilgamesh. This episode will be available as part of the Season Pass or for seperate purchase, though no pricing was given. A release timeframe of June 2017 was also given for the next episode, Episode Prompto. Final Fantasy XV is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
