Tokyo Xanadu is developed by Nihon Falcom, developer of the Ys and The Legend of Heroes series. The game takes place in modern-day Japan after a huge earthquake devastates Tokyo. Ten years after the earthquake, its mysterious cause is revealed as the emergence of a mysterious shadow world called the Eclipse. Players control a party of characters from Moriyama City as they fight off the beings from the shadow world. The enhanced eX+ version offers new monsters, dungeons, story events, and a new playable character.
