In a post on its website, BioWare has announced the release date for the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda. The game will arrive in North America on March 21, 2017, and in Europe on March 23, 2017. It will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Andromeda marks the beginning of a new chapter for the series, set six hundred years after the original trilogy. Players take control of a Pathfinder sent on a mission to explore the Andromeda Galaxy, tasked with finding humanity a new home and and documenting any contact with new alien lifeforms.
