Koei Tecmo announced today that Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will be released in North America and Europe on June 7, 2016, and June 10, 2016, respectively. The game will be available physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and digitally-only for PlayStation Vita.

The publisher also announced it is teaming up with NIS America to release a limited edition for the PlayStation 4 version. The edition can be pre-ordered now from NIS America's North American online store for $99.99, with its European store accepting pre-orders from March 22, 2016, and contains the following:

• Atelier Sophie for PlayStation 4
• Full-colour, 48-page hardcover art book
• Two-disc, 38-track original soundtrack with jewel case
• Cloth poster (40"x26")
• Five mini art prints (5"x7")
• Collector's box

Atelier Sophie stars Sophie Neuenmuller, a novice alchemist who becomes the owner of a book that has a soul and transforms into a human girl, who becomes Sophie's teacher. The game is not directly connected to any others in the series, though Logy from Atelier Escha & Logy makes an appearance. The North American and European releases of the game are confirmed to have both Japanese and English voice acting. Some early English screenshots and an announcement trailer can be found below.
