Kalypso Media announced that it plans to bring Daedalic Entertainment's tactical RPG Blackguards to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Titled Blackguards: Definitive Edition, the console release is planned for summer 2016 and will include the content from the Untold Legends DLC that adds that weapons, quests, maps, and story content surrounding one of its characters.

Blackguards was originally released on PC and Mac in January 2014. The game is based on The Dark Eye tabletop role-playing game and setting, and sees the player character falsely accused of murder, leading to a quest for revenge with a set of disreputable companions. A sequel, Blackguards 2, was released for PC and Mac in January 2015.
