Rogue Wizards is being made ever more ready for its imminent launch. Developer Spellbind Studios is tweaking and tuning the game mechanics and has announced a few big updates for the indie roguelike about, well, wizards. At the top of the list is a finalized magic system, featuring a total of eighteen spells across six distinct schools of magic. RPGamers will be able to call on the mystic forces with new spells such as Force of Nature, Ignite, and Boulder. A new town feature has also been added in the form of pedastools — six large gems that represent the player's progress in conquering the game's six elemental dungeons and defeating their bosses. Finally, the game's dialog has been reworked, making it more streamlined and informative for players.
Rogue Wizards completed a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2014 and is due to release in 2016 for iOS, Android, PC, and Mac.
