From Software and Bandai Namco are rapidly gearing up for the release of Dark Souls III, the latest in their popular franchise aimed at hardcore gamers. With the release of this official trailer, players will get their first glimpse at the medieval world of Lothric in action. Comprised of gameplay footage set to a haunting rendition of "True Colors," the trailer features the game's protagonist slashing, rolling, and shield-bashing his way past a host of new enemies, including what appears to be a few bosses.

Dark Souls III will release simultaneously in both North America and Europe on April 12, 2016. It will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
