With the release of Fire Emblem Fates just a week away, Nintendo released a new pair of trailers for the game. The first four-minute video gives an overview of the game's setting featuring the rival kingdoms of Hoshino and Nohr, as well as offering a brief tutorial for combat in the game. The second video, meanwhile, highlights the main protagonist who was born in Hoshino but raised in Nohr, and some of his potential allies. This trailer also offers an introduction to the game's relationship and class systems.

Fire Emblem Fates features two distinct versions — Birthright and Conquest — which see the player join up with one of the two sides. The other campaign will be available to downloaded as DLC. A third campaign, Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation, will be released as DLC on March 10, 2016, though those who order the all-in-one special physical edition will be able to access it early.
