Almost three years after a successful Kickstarter campaign, inXile Entertainment has released Torment: Tides of Numenera through Steam's Early Access program. Backers and non-backers can now play an early build of the game for $44.99/£30.98/€44.99.

Taking place in the world of Numenera, the planet Earth one billion years in the future, Tides of Numenera is a spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment. A new trailer has been put together for the occassion, which shows off more gameplay and sets the tone for the game.
