Sony has just a little more info to drop on Bloodborne before its release. Revealed alongside a ninety-second teaser trailer, these new details focus on the game's hub and currency.

The main player hub in Bloodborne is called Hunter's Dream, which can be reached by interacting with lanterns spread throughout Yharnam, similar to bonfires from Dark Souls II. Here players can spend Blood Echoes, the main currency of the game, to level up, repair and upgrade weapons, and buy items. Players will also collect Blood Gems, which can be attached to weapons in order to boost their power or add unique characteristics. Hunter's Dream additionally contains a Memory Altar, at which players can memorize special items called Caryll Runes to upgrade their character in unique ways, such as increasing inventory size or the amount of Blood Echoes you collect off of enemies.

Additionally, players who own an official PlayStation headset will be able to use the custom Bloodborne audio mode through the PlayStation 4 headset app. Bloodborne releases exclusively on PlayStation 4 on March 24, 2015 in North America and March 27, 2015 in Europe.
