Koei Tecmo has released a bunch of new media for its upcoming title, Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea. The media includes both screenshots and character art, as well as five new gameplay videos, all of which can be accessed below.

The company also released details about some of the characters related to Shallistera, one of the games two selectable protagonists, in the game. Shallistera, Shallie to her friends, is herself the daughter of a ship clan's chief who heads to the oasis city of Stellard to seek help when her father falls ill. She is joined in this journey by guardian Teokhuga, a shipwright and advisor who has looked after Shallistera since childhood.

In the city of Stellard she comes across many other characters, including Gerard Perriod, chairman of a corporation that manages the water supply; Linca, Gerard's secretary; and Raoul Pireit, president of the "Cooperative Union". Other characters that are met in the world outside of Stellard feature Rosemia, a travelling shop owner; Odelia, an automaton with great knowledge of the world; and Harry Olsen, an adventurer, businessman, and investor all-in-one.

Shallistera is fortunate to not have to face the world alone, however. She is quickly joined by her childhood friend Kortes, who is trained in martial arts, and also befriend Jurie Crotze, a treasure hunter trying to pay off her family's debt.

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea is due to be released for PlayStation 3 in North America on March 20, 2015 and in Europe on March 23, 2015. Those interested in the title can check out Michael Baker's impression of the Japanese release of the game.
