Ackk Studios has a progress update regarding its upcoming title Y2K. In its update the developer stated that the script and voice acting for the game are complete, as are the battle mode, enemy AI, most of the game's central hub, and the first of four dungeons. It also released a short work-in-progress video, with a full trailer set to be released at the end of February.

Y2K is an RPG inspired by Earthbound with planned releases for PC, Wii U, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Ackk Studios plans to have the game ready for release by Winter 2015.
