Square Enix has confirmed that it is working on a porting Deus Ex: Human Revolution to the Nintendo Wii U. Since the original version of this game was released in late 2011, this new port, which will be called the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut, will be coming to the Wii U much later than it did to other consoles. Still, the developers at Eidos are hoping to attract fans by promising that the game will be significantly improved with the new release.
The Director's Cut will make heavy use of the Wii U GamePad, and most of the game's HUD and menu will be moved to the second screen. This will allow an improved interface for hacking as well as new features like augmented sniping and map editing. The Director's Cut will also include the DLC from previous versions and seamlessly integrate it into the main story. Finally, it will include many alterations to gameplay balance and enemy AI, as well as overhauled boss fights.
