The US PlayStation Blog has revealed that Persona 2: Eternal Punishment will be releasing on the PSN as a PSOne Classic this week. Eternal Punishment is the second part of the story that began in Persona 2: Innocent Sin, and unlike the earlier game, this one was translated and brought over to North America for the PlayStation in 2000.
It is notable that, while all of the Persona games have had a portable remake in recent years, the Eternal Punishment remake is the only one that has not been released in the West. As such, this PSN release will be the only way for North American PSP or Vita owners to play the last Persona title unless that changes.
