Square Enix announced that Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber has officially launched on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual console. This popular tactical role-playing game retails at 1,000 Wii Points (or $10) and is the sequel to Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen, which has also been re-released on the the Virtual Console.
Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber was originally released on the Nintendo 64 on October 7, 2000 in North America. The story follows Magnus Gallant, a recent graduate of the Ischka Military Academy. Upon completing his training, he is assigned to to the troubled southern region of his native land. With a civil war on the rise, Magnus is forced to make a deadly decision: does he betray his own noble origins in the name of liberty, or turn a blind eye to the evils of his decaying society.
