SMT: Persona 3 Portable

One of RPGamer's top RPGs in 2007 is back, and this time on the PlayStation Portable. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable will hit North America on July 6, 2010. This version features the option to play as a female protagonist with new Social Links, events, and romantic pairing options.

Also new to Persona 3 Portable is the ability to control all party members, new Skill Cards, the option of taking side jobs, and two new difficulty options including the easier "beginner" and hardcore "maniac" modes. Helping to streamline this for the PSP are single button menu shortcuts, simpler team equipment changes, quick load times, and a simpler menu-based world interface.

Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales at Atlus stated, "Persona 3 introduced a revolutionary social element to role-playing games. Players weren't just progressing through a story; they were a part of it, and their decisions and the relationships they chose to foster or neglect became a powerful complement to the game's satisfying combat. Persona 3 Portable takes everything that made Persona 3 such a tremendous, award-winning hit and translates it into the perfect handheld RPG experience."
